Spartans Enter Top 10 in National Rankings

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan State football team continued its rise in the national rankings this week following its 31-13 victory at Rutgers on Saturday.
The Spartans (6-0, 3-0 Big Ten) moved up two spots to No. 9 in the USA TODAY/AFCA Coaches Poll and up one position to No. 10 in The Associated Press Poll. It marks the first time Michigan State has been ranked in the Top 10 of the national polls since Sept. 18, 2016 (No. 8 in both polls).
Michigan State returns to action Saturday, Oct. 16 to face Indiana (2-3, 0-2 Big Ten) in Bloomington, Indiana, at noon. The game will be televised on FS1.
