Big Ten Network Announces Women’s Basketball Coverage For 2021-22

The Spartans will appear on BTN up to seven times during the regular season.
EAST LANSING, Mich. - During the 2021-22 campaign Michigan State women's basketball games will have at least seven games televised on the Big Ten Network; it was announced by the Big Ten Conference on Tuesday. MSU will also have at least 10 regular-season home contests aired on Big Ten Plus.
The conference also unveiled times and network designations for selected non-conference games hosted by Big Ten schools as part of Tuesday's announcement, with no less than 72 Big Ten women's basketball games scheduled to be televised nationally by three of the conference's TV partners (BTN, FOX and ESPN).
After a season with a 20-game B1G schedule, the Big Ten will return an 18-game slate. The conference played an 18-game league schedule in both 2018-19 and 2019-20. The Big Ten also had 18-game schedules in both 2015-16 and 2014-15.
The Spartans first televised game will be Big Ten/ACC Challenge game against Notre Dame on Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. Michigan State's Big Ten opener on the road at Iowa will also be on BTN on Dec. 5 at 4:30 p.m. Those the only televised games that the Spartans will have until February.
In the final month of the regular season, MSU will have five televised games, including two against in-state rival Michigan (Feb. 10 and Feb. 24). The Spartans open the month hosting Maryland on BTN on Feb. 3. MSU will host Penn State on Feb. 21 and end the regular season on Senior Day against Ohio State on BTN or B1G+ on Feb. 27.
All BTN and FS1 on-air games will also be broadcast nationwide via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices on the FOX Sports App. More than 100 additional games also will be streamed on B1G+, with a full schedule available online at bigtenplus.com. Those games airing on ESPN2 will also be available via the ESPN App on smartphones, tablets, connected streaming devices or espn.com/watch.
Michigan State will open the season with the Spartan Spooktacular on Oct. 31. In the exhibition, Michigan State will take on Northwood at 2 p.m.
