
Spartan Softball Brings Six Aboard For 2023

East Lansing, Mich. -- Michigan State softball coach Jacquie Joseph has announced her signing class, which includes six student-athletes who will enroll at Michigan State in the fall of 2022 to compete beginning in the 2023 spring season.Â

"Signing day is an important day in our program, and we're excited to add young women of their talents and abilities to our program next fall," said Joseph, who enters her 29th season this spring. "We have identified them as future Spartans because we fully believe that they can make impacts on our team, our campus community, and in their classrooms during their time on campus. We look forward to seeing what they accomplish as they finish their high school careers."

Of the six signees, four hail from the state of Michigan: Kayla Bane (Chesterfield), Britain Beshears (Novi), Hailey Bila (Laingsburg), and Mandy Esman (Kalamazoo). Sydney Doloszycki comes to East Lansing from St. John, Indiana, and Bibianna Rodriguez will join from Victorville, California.Â

The Spartans enter the 2022 season with a roster of 20 players, and open the season in Leesburg, Fla. On Feb. 11. The home schedule is slated to begin on March 29, with 14 games to be played at Secchia Stadium. Michigan State will also serve as the host for the 2022 Big Ten Softball tournament May 11-14.Â
