Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Press Conference Coverage

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State Athletics welcomed representatives from the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on Monday as MSU Athletic Director Alan Haller officially accepted an invitation to the game from Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl CEO and President Gary Stokan.
"On behalf of Michigan State University and Spartan Athletics, we could not be more excited to accept the invitation to play in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl," said Haller. "We've experienced great support from our fans all season, both at home and on the road. I can't wait for this community to rally one more time together to support our football student-athletes."
MSU head football coach Mel Tucker also spoke to the media and answered questions at the press conference.
"Playing in a game of this magnitude is a reward for our players, our coaches and our fans for winning 10 games in the regular season," said Tucker. "I know our fans will travel well to Atlanta. They are excited about this game and supporting this team."
The 2021 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl is set for Thursday, Dec. 30 as No. 10 Michigan State (10-2, 7-2 Big Ten) takes on No. 12 Pittsburgh (11-2, 7-1 ACC) at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase at msuspartans.com.
