No. 22 Michigan State Hosts Toledo on Saturday at the Breslin Center

East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State's men's basketball team plays its second-straight home game on Saturday, Dec. 4, hosting Toledo (BTN, 5 p.m.).

The game will air live on BTN, with Cory Provus and Brian Butch calling all of the action. The TCF Bank Spartan Media Network radio call can be heard on one of 38 affiliates and on the web at MSUSpartans.com, with Will Tieman handling the play-by-play and Matt Steigenga serving as the color analyst. Toledo enters Saturday's game with a 6-1 overall record and four-straight wins, including a 106-36 win over Northwestern Ohio on Monday.
The Rockets posted three-straight wins at the Baha Mar Hoops Championship in the Bahamas last week, beating Charlotte (98-86), Tulane (68-67) and Coastal Carolina (79-70).
Sophomore guard Ryan Rollins is one of four players scoring in double figures, leading the team with 21.3 points per game.

"Honestly the Breslin, I gotta give credit to the fans. Shots were falling, and as soon as they got involved, they started to get loud, and it got a little easier. You get lob plays, you get another three, stuff like that, it'll help you, so I credit that mostly that to the fans."

Series History

The game on Saturday evening will be the ninth all-time meeting between Michigan State and Toledo, but the first since 2009.
The Spartans lead the head-to-head series, 5-3, and are 3-2 at home against the Rockets.
MSU Head Coach Tom Izzo has a 2-1 record against Toledo.
The Spartans won the last meeting between the teams, 75-62, on Nov. 20, 2009 at the Breslin Center.
Toledo posted an 81-76 win over MSU on Dec. 30, 2002.
