Michigan State Plays at No. 2 Iowa in Weekend Games

East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State's field hockey team traveled to Iowa on Thursday for a pair of weekend games, starting on Friday, March 26 at No. 2 Iowa. Game time is slated for 5 p.m. (ET). The Spartans and Hawkeyes will close out the weekend with a game on Sunday, March 28 (1 p.m.).
The Spartans and Hawkeyes will play two games this weekend, but only the first game will count toward Big Ten standings. Per rules from the league's coaches, all teams will play two games per weekend against conference opponents, but only the first game will count toward Big Ten standings.
Michigan State dropped a pair of games last weekend at home to Penn State, falling 5-2 on Friday and then a 3-0 decision on Sunday.
