Iowa finished first at 13-under-par 851, edging both Notre Dame and Georgia Southern by one stroke.
"It was an important week for us," Spartan head coach Casey Lubahn said. "Hopefully some of the lessons we learned from being in contention will stick with us. It will be good for us in the long run, but today kind of hurts."
Troy Taylor II's 2-under-par 214 (73-69-72) led all Spartans as he finished tied for 12th place. He carded an even-par 72 on Tuesday.
"Troy was by far the steadiest of the squad this week," Lubahn said. "He was kind of digging his way out of mini slump. He hit it good and putted better. It's always great when someone is working hard and starts to have success."
James Piot tied for 23rd place at 1-over-par 217 (70-72-75) after a 3-over-par 75 on Tuesday.
Andrew Walker shot an even-par 72 in the final round and was 2-over-par 218 (76-70-72), slotting him in 30th place. He recorded two birdies and nine pars over the final 11 holes.
Bradley Smithson knocked a hole-in-one on the par-3, 110-yard seventh hole en route to a 1-under-par 71, which was the lowest of any round by a Spartan on the day.
"That was cool to see. It was a great shot over the water," Lubahn said.
The hole-in-one was the first by a Spartan since Gareth Blease in the second round of the Hawkeye-GRE Invitational on April 12, 2014.
Smithson was 3-over-par 219 (71-77-71) and tied for 35th place.
Freshman August Meekhof was 6-over-par 222 (71-74-77).
Next up for the Spartans will be the Tar Heel Intercollegiate, March 27-29, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
