Spartans Announce Six Game Times for 2021 Season

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Big Ten Conference announced six game times for the 2021 Michigan State football season on Thursday afternoon.
The season opener at Northwestern has been moved up a day to Friday, Sept. 3 in Evanston, Illinois. The game will kick off at 9 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPN. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 4.
MSU's home opener in Spartan Stadium will take place on Saturday, Sept. 11 against Youngstown State at 12 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
The Spartans hit the road again in Week 3 to face Miami at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 12 p.m. The game will be televised on either ABC or ESPN.
For Homecoming against Western Kentucky on Saturday, Oct. 2 in Spartan Stadium, MSU will host the Hilltoppers at 7:30 p.m.
The following two weeks, MSU will have road games at noon at Rutgers (Oct. 9) and Indiana (Oct. 16).
