EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Big Ten Conference has named Michigan State redshirt sophomore linebacker Cal Haladay the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row.
Haladay recorded a career-high 19 tackles, including one for a 3-yard loss, in the 27-21 victory over the Scarlet Knights last Saturday in Spartan Stadium, the most by a Big Ten player this season. It also marked the most tackles by a Spartan since Eric Smith had 19 vs. Notre Dame in 2004.

Haladay ranks second in the Big Ten with a career-high 99 tackles (9.9 pg) and ranks second on the team with 8.5 tackles for loss (31 yards).
Michigan State (5-5, 3-4 Big Ten) returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 19 at noon against Indiana (3-7, 1-6 Big Ten) in Spartan Stadium. The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
