Michigan State will keep football season ticket prices the same for the seventh year in a row.
EAST LANSING, Mich. – Returning Michigan State football season ticket holders can begin renewing their season tickets for the 2022 season through the Spartan Ticket Office.
For the seventh consecutive year, season ticket prices will not increase and will remain at $49 per game ($343 for the seven-game home season) plus the scholarship seat premium. Scholarship seat premiums also remain the same.
"Football season ticket holders are incredibly important to our department and our ability to support all of our student-athletes," said Alan Haller, Michigan State Vice President and Director of Athletics. "After a 2020 season played in front of mostly empty stands, the return of Spartan fans in 2021 provided us a great homefield advantage. They supported us when we needed it the most, and the decision to not raise ticket prices or seat premiums is a sign of our appreciation and gratitude. We are excited about another great year of Michigan State football in Spartan Stadium."
The Spartans announced their 2022 schedule Jan. 12, which features seven home games, including five Big Ten contests in East Lansing. MSU will open the season on Friday, Sept. 2 against Western Michigan, followed by another nonconference home game a week later vs. Akron on Sept. 10. The Big Ten slate begins on Sept. 24 vs. Minnesota and continues in October against Ohio State (Oct. 8) and Wisconsin (Homecoming, Oct. 15). MSU will play host to Rutgers (Nov. 12) and Indiana (Nov. 19) to close the home schedule in November.
Recent MSU graduates (who have graduated within the last two years) can purchase up to two tickets for only $245 per seat, while season admissions for current MSU students are also available now for $185.
Season parking passes ($210) may be requested through the Spartan Ticket Office. Parking locations will be selected in mid-July based on Spartan Fund donor priority. For more information, please visit https://spartanfund.net/tickets-parking/football/parking/.

Michigan State will begin new public season ticket sales on June 16.
Following an 11-win season and a Top-10 national ranking in 2021, the Michigan State football team is poised for another successful season in 2022. The Spartans are returning 46 letterwinners from last year's Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Champion team that also went a perfect 6-0 at home, including quarterback Payton Thorne, who set a school single-season record with 27 touchdown passes; wide receiver and first-team All-America all-purpose player Jayden Reed; and captain Xavier Henderson, who has started 33 consecutive games at safety.
Led by the 2021 Big Ten Coach of the Year, Mel Tucker, the Spartans will begin spring practice on March 15. The spring game is set for Saturday, April 16 in Spartan Stadium.
Michigan State Athletics thanks all of its football season ticket holders for their dedicated support of Spartan football. The Spartans once again ranked in the Top 25 in attendance in 2021, ranking No. 17 in the FBS with an average of 70,135 fans per game (420,808 over six games). MSU has ranked among the NCAA's Top 25 in attendance each of the last 65 seasons (excluding 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions).
