East Lansing, Mich. -- Spartan coach Adam Nightingale has added forward Karsen Dorwart (Sherwood, Oregon) to the Spartan roster for the 2022-23 season.Â

The 6-1, 191-pound Dorwart adds some size on the front lines for the Spartans. Dorwart comes to East Lansing after a season with the USHL's Sioux Falls Stampede.Â
Â
"Karsen is a strong centerman who plays a 200' game," noted the Spartan coach. "His game really evolved last season and we look forward to helping him continue his development path."
Â
Dorwart is the 10th newcomer to Spartan roster for next season, a group comprised of five freshmen, four graduate transfers, and one transfer student-athlete. The group includes six forwards, three defensemen, and one goaltender.Â
