
Women’s Golf Announces 2022-23 Schedule

East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State women's golf head coach Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll announced the program's schedule for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
The 2021 Big Ten champion Spartans will play a total of nine tournaments prior to the 2023 conference championship, which will take place at Fox Chapel Country Club in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, April 21-23.
The Spartans will get the season going Sept. 12-13, playing in the Cougar Classic at Yeamans Hall Club in Charleston, South Carolina. This will be the second-straight year the team opens the season at this event.
MSU is back in action the following weekend, playing in the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship on Sept. 19-20 at Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn.
Michigan State will play three tournaments in October, starting with the Windy City Classic, Oct. 3-4, at Exmoor Country Club in Highland Park, Ill. MSU returns to the Tar Heel Invitational, Oct. 17-18 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
The fall schedule closes with a mainstay on the MSU schedule, The Landfall Tradition, Oct. 28-30 in Wilmington, North Carolina.
MSU's first tournament of the new year will be another familiar stop in Orlando, Florida, with the UCF Challenge at Eagle Creek Golf Club, Feb. 5-7.
The Spartans will head back down to Florida from Feb. 19-21, playing in the Moon Golf Invitational at Suntree Country Club in Melbourne, Fla.
After a spring break trip to Florida in early March, the team will head out west to play in the Arizona State Invitational at Papago Golf Club in Phoenix from March 24-26. The three-day event in Arizona gives the Spartans a chance to play in Arizona ahead of a potential return to the NCAA Championships in May.
The Lady Buckeye Invitational in Columbus, Ohio, April 15-16, will serve as the Spartans' final tune-up prior to the Big Ten Championship, which will be April 21-13.
The six NCAA Regional sites for 2023 will be San Antonio, Texas; Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; Athens, Ga.; Westfield, Ind.; Raleigh, N.C.; and Pullman, Wash.
