
Michigan State Falls at Iowa in Overtime, 112-106

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Michigan State's men's basketball team had a 13-point lead with less than two minutes left in regulation, but Iowa hit five 3-pointers to send the game to overtime and the Hawkeyes beat the Spartans, 112-106, at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Saturday afternoon.
Senior guard Tyson Walker scored a season-high, and Big Ten career-high, 31 points, adding four rebounds and five assists to lead the Spartans.
Sophomore guard Jaden Akins scored a career-high 21 points, senior forward Malik Hall scored 16 points, graduate forward Joey Hauser added 15 points, five rebounds and four assists and junior guard A.J. Hoggard finished with 15 points (12-of-14 from the free throw line) and seven assists.

Michigan State falls to 17-11 overall and 9-8 in the Big Ten Conference, while Iowa improves to 18-11 overall and 10-8 in league play.
