Preseason Camp Update: Mel Tucker Press Conference

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Following the first scrimmage of preseason camp on Saturday, the Michigan State football team returned to the practice field for its 10th practice on Monday morning.
Following practice, MSU head coach Mel Tucker met with the media to give an update on the Spartans.
"I like what I'm seeing out there so far, a lot of energy, guys are working hard, and a lot of hard coaching," said Tucker. "A sense of urgency, attention to detail, is there. We're making progress...We have to get better this week."
Michigan State opens the 2023 season on Friday, Sept. 1 vs. Central Michigan at 7 p.m. in Spartan Stadium.
