Spartan Women’s Basketball Announces 2023-24 Non-Conference Schedule

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State women's basketball head coach Robyn Fralick announced the Spartans 2023-24 non-conference schedule on Wednesday.
Michigan State will play 11 non-conference games, along with an exhibition game against Davenport on Nov. 2. Two of the Spartans' 2023-24 non-conference opponents competed in the NCAA Tournament last season, including both of Michigan State's opponents in the Cancun Challenge, James Madison and Creighton.
MSU will play six games at the friendly confines of the Breslin Center, beginning with an exhibition against Davenport on Thursday, Nov. 2. The Spartans open the regular season with four-straight home games, beginning on Thursday, Nov. 8 against Oakland, before facing Wright State on Sunday, Nov. 12.
The Spartans will conclude their quartet of home contests against Detroit Mercy on Thursday, Nov. 16 before taking on Evansville on Sunday, Nov. 19.
Michigan State will head away from home for three games, beginning with games against James Madison and Creighton at the Cancun Challenge. In its only true non-conference road contest, MSU will take on DePaul on Thursday, Nov. 30. The Green and White will host Miami (Ohio) back at the Breslin Center on Sun, Dec. 3 before taking on in-state foe Central Michigan on Sunday, Dec. 17.
MSU will round out the preseason-Big Ten ledger at the Cherokee Invitational in North Carolina facing Coastal Carolina (Dec. 20) and either Richmond or UT Chattanooga (Dec. 21).
Fralick was introduced as MSU's sixth women's basketball coach on March 31.
