SPARTAN NOTES
- B1G Co-Freshman of the Week Cecily Charles had a career day against No. 17 Ohio State, recording a career-high 14 saves. Charles made three starts in three appearances in Green and White with a .815 save percentage and 2.70 GAA.Â
- Lena Kassel recorded her first career goal in a Michigan State uniform against Ohio State on a penalty stroke to send the Spartans into overtime.
- Celina Riccardo looks to make her 73rd start out of 74 career games, with 65th consecutive starts for MSU.
- Three different Spartans has scored a goal in the last two games; Lulu Fulton and Kim Smit each scored against Stanford and Kassel against Ohio State.
SCOUTING THE HOOSIERS

- Indiana is led by fifth-year head coach Kayla Bashore. IU is 3-4 record, including a 0-1 record in B1G play heading into the weekend.
- Indiana returned 20 players from last year's roster including eight of their nine top scorers.
- The Hoosiers are led by Sarah Charley and Ines Garcia Prado who each have seven points through seven games.
SCOUTING THE CHIPPEWAS

- Central Michigan is led by second-year head coach Jennifer Johnstone. Before joining the Chippewas, Johnstone spent five years with MSU as an assistant coach under Helen Knull. CMU is 1-5 on the year and fell to Kent State in their lone MAC game so far.
- Central Michigan has been shut out in four-straight games going into the week.
- MSU owns the all-time series 49-15-4. The Chippewas have only beaten the Spartans three times since 1990.
