MSU Men’s Soccer Earns No. 5 Seed in Big Ten Tournament

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State men's soccer has earned the No. 5 seed in the upcoming Big Ten Tournament. MSU will take on No. 4-seeded Washington on Thursday, Nov. 7 in the quarterfinals.
Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. ET at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois. The game will be streamed on B1G+.The semifinal round will also take place at SeakGeek Stadium on Nov. 10.
Ohio State earned the No. 1 overall seed despite sharing the regular season title with Indiana.
No. 2 Indiana will face No. 7 seed Michigan at 1 p.m. ET in the first of three quarterfinal matchups on Thursday. The second quarterfinal, scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET, features No. 3 Maryland against No. 6 UCLA. The Spartans and the Huskies are the final game of the day. The Buckeyes will take on the winner of the game against MSU and UW on Nov. 10 at 5:30 p.m. ET.
The championship game will then be played on Sunday, Nov. 17, at the highest remaining seed at 3 p.m. ET.
Michigan State ended the regular season with a 5-7-4 record and were 4-4-2 record in Big Ten play. The Spartans captured the meeting earlier this year with a 1-0 win on Sept. 13. Junior midfielder Jonathan Stout provided the game's only goal.
