Big Ten Conference Announces Kickoff Times for First Three Games

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Big Ten Conference announced kickoff times for the first three games of the 2024 Michigan State football season on Thursday afternoon.
MSU's season opener will be on Friday, Aug. 30 against Florida Atlantic at 7 p.m. in Spartan Stadium. The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network. This marks the 10th time in the past 14 years that Michigan State will open with a Friday night game in East Lansing; it's also the 12th time since 2011 that MSU will begin the season on a Friday night.
In Week 2, the Spartans start conference play at Maryland on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 3:30 p.m. in SECU Stadium on the Big Ten Network.
Michigan State returns home on Saturday, Sept. 14 to face Prairie View A&M in the first-ever meeting between the two schools at 3:30 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
FOX Sports previously announced that Michigan State will play two games as part of the inaugural FOX College Football Friday schedule: Oct. 4 at Oregon (9 p.m. ET) and Nov. 22 vs. Purdue (8 p.m.).
