Spartan Men’s Tennis Returns to Home State for RSM Invite

Saye and Sheldon to represent Michigan State at weekend competition in Holland, Mich.
EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State men's tennis will return to their home state for the first time this fall to compete at the Hope College RSM Invite Friday to Sunday, Oct. 3-5, in Holland, Michigan.
The dynamic duo of senior David Saye and sophomore Mitchell Sheldon will represent the Spartans at this doubles tournament. Action will be played at Dewitt Tennis Center/Vande-Poel Heeringa Courts in Holland, and action gets underway at 10 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, with a 9 a.m. start on Sunday.
Saye enters the tournament following his appearance at the ITA All-American Tournament, where he gained valuable experience against some of the nation's top players. The senior looks to carry that experience into this weekend's matchups.
Sheldon will make his fall season debut at the RSM Invite, playing in singles and doubles with Saye. This tournament marks an opportunity to gain early momentum heading into the rest of the fall schedule.
