MSU Women’s Basketball Announces 2026 Recruiting Class

Michigan State adds Lilly Williams.
EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State women's basketball head coach Robyn Fralick announced the signing of Lilly Williams (Farmington Hills, Mich./Howell High School).
We are thrilled to add Lilly Williams to the Michigan State women's basketball program, Fralick said. Lilly has an incredible Spartan pride, and we have loved getting to know her and her family through the recruiting process. She brings great size, athleticism, and a physical presence to our team. We love the way she has continued to develop, and we are very excited to have her in Spartan uniform soon.
Williams is a 6-6 center, who is a native of Farmington Hills, Michigan. She is currently ranked No. 15 in the 2026 SportsCenter NEXT 100. After being homeschooled for three years, she now attends Howell High School for her senior season for coach Jason Piepho. Williams earned two National HomeSchool Christian National Championships. Last season, she was named NCHBC National Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. Her team, the Firebirds, was coached by her parents. Also played club for the Michigan Mystics. She has also gained some international experience, participating in the 2025 USA U19 Team Trials in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
She is the daughter of Joshua and Christin. Her father, Joshua, played basketball at the Naval Academy. Her brother, Caleb, played football at Indiana Wesleyan, while her sister, Abigail, played basketball at Bethel (IN).
The Spartans return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 12 against Youngstown State at the Breslin at 6:30 p.m.
