MSU Baseball Schedule Update: Michigan State Weekend At Iowa Schedule Change

Inclement weather in forecast for Iowa City juggles Spartans’ B1G opening weekend action.
EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State baseball's Big Ten Conference opening series at Iowa has been altered due to inclement weather in the forecast for Iowa City this weekend.
Michigan State and Iowa will now play a doubleheader on Friday, March 14 starting at 1:02 p.m. ET/12:02 p.m. CT, with game two slated for 5:02 p.m. ET/4:02 p.m. CT or approximately 40 minutes after the completion of game one.
Saturday's series finale will now start at 2:02 p.m. ET/1:02 p.m. CT.
MSU takes a 12-4 overall record into its B1G opening action weekend. Iowa is 8-7 overall and 2-1 in B1G play after taking two of three at Rutgers last weekend.

MSU returns to Jeff Ishbia Field at McLane Stadium to host Oakland on Wednesday, March 10 at 4 p.m.
