EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State men's tennis fell to No. 3 Ohio State in a close, 4-3, loss for the Spartans Sunday afternoon at the MSU Indoor Tennis Center.
With this loss, Michigan State moves to 11-7 on the season, 6-2 in Big Ten Conference play, and puts a halt to the Spartans' four-match win streak, as Sunday's match was the second half of a doubleheader with the Spartan women's tennis team. Returning to familiar pairings in doubles, junior Ozan Baris/freshman Matthew Forbes found themselves at No. 1, the Sheldon brothers of senior Max Sheldon and freshman Mitchell Sheldon, slotted in at No. 2, while redshirt-sophomore Aristotelis Thanos and freshman Vuk Radjenovic rounded out the pairings at No. 3.
