MSU Baseball Schedule Update: Wednesday’s Game vs. Bowling Green Cancelled

Inclement weather in forecast wipes out Spartans vs. Falcons match-up.
EAST LANSING, Mich. – Wednesday evening's Michigan State baseball's game against Bowling Green has been cancelled due to inclement weather in the forecast.
Thunderstorms and rain is forecast for the East Lansing area all day Wednesday.
No make-up date was announced.
This marks the third year in a row that MSU and BGSU have been cancelled due to weather, as the 2024 match-up scheduled for May 7, 2024 was also cancelled due to thunderstorms, while the 2023 game scheduled for April 5, 2023 was cancelled due to inclement weather and flooding at Old College Field.
Michigan State will tangle with the Lansing Lugnuts in the 2025 Crosstown Showdown on Tuesday, April 1 at 6:05 p.m. at Jackson® Field™ in the 17th-annual exhibition game between the Spartans and the High A-Affiliate of the Oakland A's. Tuesday's game will be seven-innings.
Jackson® Field™ gates open at 5 p.m. and Tuesday's pre-game festivities include the first 1,000 fans receiving giveaway jerseys presented by Delta Dental. Selected MSU players will be available for autographs pre-game as well. Sparty, the MSU Spirit Squad and MSU Marching Band will be in attendance.
In collaboration with Michigan State Baseball and Southside Community Kitchen, the Lansing Lugnuts will be hosting a canned food drive at the 2025 Crosstown Showdown. Donations accepted include: Cash, Non-Expired Canned Fruit, Pudding, and Single Ingredient Canned Items. Fans that bring a donation item will receive a $5 ticket voucher for a future Lansing Lugnuts game.
MSU will then resume Big Ten Conference action by returning to the road for the third time in the first four weekends of conference play, heading to Bloomington, Indiana for a three-game weekend series against the Hoosiers at IU's Bart Kaufman Field. The series opens Friday, April 4 at 6:02 p.m. Game two is slated for Saturday, April 5 at 2:02 p.m., before Sunday's series finale at 1:02 p.m.
