Baris, a native of Okemos, Michigan, has a 3.787 GPA majoring in communication. On the court, he earned First Team All-Big Ten accolades, logging 23 overall singles wins this season, including 10 during dual action.
Sheldon, an Arlington Heights, Illinois native, graduated this spring with a 3.569 and a degree in finance. On the court, he established a new MSU's program record with 170 all-time combined wins. Sheldon grabbed All-Big Ten Second Team honors, and posted 26 singles wins during the 2024-25 season, including 18 in dual matches.
The Spartans ended their 2024-25 campaign at 17-10, concluding their season in the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a row. Overall, Michigan State was making its third appearance in the NCAA Tournament, first doing so in 2013.
