Marah Dykstra Named to Canada FIBA U23 3x3 Roster

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State women's basketball player Marah Dykstra (Vancouver, British Columbia/Churchill Secondary.) will represent her native Canada in the FIBA U23 3x3 Nations League 2025 in Punta Arenas, Chile from July 21-27.
The Americas conference features six three-game tournaments in seven days, including daily pool play and a final. Teams will earn tour standing points after each one-day event. The top-ranked team in the standings after the sixth day will be declared winners of their conference and qualify for the FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup 2025 taking place September 17–21 in Xiong An, China.
Representing Canada on the women's roster are Dykstra (Vancouver, B.C.), Rebecca Demeke (Toronto, Ont.), Alphonsia Eleko (Montreal, Que.), Gage Grassick (Prince Albert, SK), Emma Koabel (Port Colborne, Ont.) and Mackenzie Smith (Shelburne, N.S.). The team will be led by head coach Dianna Ros.
Dykstra is in her first season with Michigan State, coming to East Lansing from Montana State. The senior forward captured first-team All-Big Sky honors last season and second-team during the 2023-24 season. She already has international experience playing for Team Canada. During the summer of 2022, Dykstra played in the FIBA U18 Americas Championship, helping Team Canada win a silver medal.
