Michigan State hits the road for the first conference road trip of the spring season.
EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State men's tennis is geared up for its first Big Ten Conference road trip, heading to University Park, Pa., to face the Penn State Nittany Lions on Friday, March 13, at 2 p.m.
Shortly after facing the Nittany Lions, the Green & White will head to Columbus, Ohio, to take on the No. 1-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes on Sunday.
Coming back from a big weekend at home, the Spartans aim to earn another conference victory. After taking down two ranked opponents, the Spartans are currently ranked No. 46 heading into the weekend.
The Spartans are on a two-match win streak overall, aiming to make it three by using momentum from their home opener last weekend. The key to recent Spartan success has been taking an early lead with the doubles point and maintain the momentum throughout singles play.
