McCulloch, Bond Earn All-Region Honors from the Golf Coaches Association of America

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State men's golfers Ashton McCulloch and Caleb Bond were named to the All-Midwest Region Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
This is the third all-region honor of his career for McCulloch, who previously was recognized in 2022 and 2024, while Bond earns his second-straight honor at MSU and his third career, including a Division II honor at Ferris State in 2024.
The duo closed out their MSU careers on May 20, competing as individuals in the NCAA Columbus Regional at the OSU Golf Club in Ohio. McCulloch shot a 3-over par 74 in the final round and tied for 27th place at 10-over par 223 (73-76-74). Bond, meanwhile, shot a 5-over par 76 in the third round and tied for 36th place at 12-over par 225 (74-75-76).
McCulloch closes out a remarkable career at Michigan State, ranking among the best all-time in program history. His career scoring average of 71.52 ranks as the second-best all-time in program history and his 151 rounds played are the third-most all-time by an MSU golfer. As a fifth-year player in 2025-26, his 71.29 scoring average ranks as the third-best mark in a single-season at MSU. McCulloch will leave East Lansing with four single-season marks ranking among the top-20 in program history.
He was the Big Ten Freshman of the Year honoree in 2022, earned All-Big Ten Second Team honors three times, was an All-Midwest Region selection by the Golf Coaches Association of America in 2024, earned a spot on the All-Big Ten Championship team in 2024 and was a four-time Academic All-Big Ten selection.
Bond closes out a spectacular two years at MSU following his transfer ahead of his junior season, earning All-Midwest Region honors from the GCAA and All-Big Ten Second Team honors in 2025. This season, Bond led the team with a 71.09 scoring average that ranks as the second-best mark in program history. His two-year scoring average of 71.30 over 66 rounds played is the best in program history (minimum 50 rounds).
Prior to his arrival at MSU, Bond spent two years at Ferris State. He was a Third-Team All-American selection by the GCAA in 2024 as he helped lead the Bulldogs to a ninth-place finish at the NCAA Division II National Championships and was the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year in 2023.
