During that span he registered seven pins, two were against eventual NCAA Qualifiers, and one major decision … Took first place at the Navy Classic going 4-0 with a pair of first period falls over Nebraska’s national qualifier Lenny Pinto and Kent State’s Mike Caniglia … Began the dual season going 7-0 with three fall victories … Pulled off a nail-biting 1-0 victory over Binghamton’s national qualifier Jacob Nolan … Placed third at the Reno Tournament of Champions with a 4-1 record, three wins were registered by fall including a season fastest 1:14 pin over Simpson (Calif.)
