2023-24 (Senior) 25-8 Overall, 11-7 Open Tournaments, 14-1 Duals: Academic All-Big Ten honoree … Ranked seventh in the country with a career-high 11 falls … Ranked second on the team with six major decision victories … Nine of his 14 dual victories ended in bonus points … Opened his season taking second place at the Black Knight Invite with a pair of major decision victories over Rutgers’ Al De Santis, 9-0, and Gardner-Webb’s Drew Pepin, 14-3. At the tournament, he also defeated Blake Saito out of Brown in a commanding, 7-1, fashion … Started the dual season 7-0 off with five fall victories over Franklin & Marshall’s Dominic Wheatley at the 4:42 mark; Bloomsburg’s William Morrow in the first period in 2:23 of elapsed match time; pinned American’s Devon Capato at the 6:08 mark; then had a pair of first period pins over Ohio’s Daniel Segura and Michigan’s Zack Mattin … Against No. 1-ranked Penn State, he battled against the No. 1-ranked 157-pounder Levi Haines.
