Recorded a 3-2 decision over Minnesota[apos]s Josh Shupe in the dual against the Gophers Jan. 17 . . . Finished in third place at the Northern Iowa Open on Dec. 14, closing the tournament out with five straight victories . . . Pinned Nicholas Barber of Eastern Michigan in the final match of the dual as MSU topped the Eagles, 24-9, in the home opener . . . Closed out the season 0-2 at the Big Ten Championships.
