2020-21 (Senior): Named winner of the team’s Dr. John Downs Outstanding Defensive Player … Led the Big Ten in blocked shots with 71 and in blocks per game at 2.63 … Played in all 27 games … AHCA/Krampade Academic All-American Scholar … Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten … Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner … Ended his career with the second most blocks in program history with 273 … Skated in every game (27) for the fourth consecutive season, never missing a game in his career … Produced four points, including a goal and three assists, all of which came in MSU wins … Was named the Big Ten First Star of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal in overtime and setting up the tying goal in a 4-3 road victory over No. 16 Notre Dame on Dec. 20 … Had an assist in a 5-1 win over Penn State on Jan. 4 … Had a helper in the 3-2 win at Ohio State on Nov. 28.
