HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-year letterwinner at Lake Orion High School for coach Andy Schramek ... Earned DI First-Team All-State honors as a senior ... Played in the MHSBCA1 East vs. West and the MAC/OAA All-Star Games ... Posted a .470 average with seven home runs in helping the Dragons to a 30-6 record in senior season ... Played summer league for Southern Ohio Copperheads of the Great Lakes League
PERSONAL: Son of Angie and Keith Aldridge ... Father, Keith, played hockey for Lake Superior State University of the CCHA, and was voted the CCHA Best Offensive Defenseman in 1995-96, and was a member of the Lakers’ NCAA National Championship team in 1993-94, and also named to the All-Star Tournament Team, along with being named Second Team All-CCHA in 1994, First Team CCHA in 1995 and 1996, NCAA West Second All-American Team in 1995, and NCAA West First All-American Team in 1996, and went on to a finalist for the 1996 Hobey Baker Award, playing in the NHL for the Dallas Stars ... Mother, Angie, ran cross country at Lake Superior State ... Has uncle who played DI hockey, as well as cousins who have played DI baseball, hockey, golf and track & field ...
