Blaine Macius is in his first year as a graduate assistant at Michigan State, working with the offensive line.

Macius spent one season (2018) working at Morehead State, assisting with the defensive line and special teams.

Macius was an assistant football coach at Division III Elmhurst College from 2015-18, serving as the defensive line coach, assistant recruiting coordinator, film coordinator, offensive scout team coordinator and summer camp coordinator. He was the assistant football coach at Notre Dame College Prep in 2014 where he served as the special teams coach and an offensive/defensive line coach. He also was a head coach for a top-tier travel baseball team in Illinois.

Originally from Arlington Heights, Illinois, Macius began his college career at Wabash College where he played defensive end. He graduated from Roosevelt University with a degree in biology and received his master’s degree in business from Elmhurst College.
