Morgan Bequeaith joined the Michigan State coaching staff in 2026 as an assistant running backs coach. He will work directly under Spartan running backs coach Devon Spalding.
Bequeaith spent the 2025 season working as an offensive graduate assistant at Youngstown State. The Penguins finished No. 17 in the final AFCA FCS Poll and reached the FCS Playoffs as three players on offense earned all-conference honors, including quarterback Beau Brungard, who was named the Walter Camp and Walter Payton FCS Player of the Year.
Prior to working at YSU, Bequeaith was an assistant cornerbacks coach and defensive analyst at Northern Iowa in 2024. He was also an offensive assistant at UNI in 2023.
Bequeaith earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education from Northern Iowa in December 2024.
