Former NFL placekicker Shayne Graham is in his second season on staff as a special teams analyst. Graham previously spent the 2017 season as a quality control coach at Central Michigan. He works directly with special teams coordinator Mark Staten on day-to-day special teams operations and activities, as well as generating comprehensive scouting reports on opponents.
Graham played for 11 teams during his 15-year NFL career, including the Bills (2001), Panthers (2002), Bengals (2003-09), Patriots (2010), Giants (2010), Dolphins (2011), Ravens (2011), Texans (2012), Saints (2013-14) and Falcons (2015). He ranks among the top leaders in NFL history in career field-goal percentage (11th at .855), field goals (34th with 277), points (36th with 1,260) and extra points (40th with 429). Graham was a first-team All-Pro and a Pro Bowl selection in 2005 with Cincinnati, and holds Bengals franchise records for most field goals in a season (31 in 2007), most field goals in a game (seven) and highest field-goal percentage in a season (91.2 percent, 31 of 34 in 2007). He was also a four-time Bengals nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year.
A four-year letterwinner (1996-99) at Virginia Tech, Graham is the all-time leading scorer in Hokie history with 371 career points. He also holds the school record with 68 career field goals and led the Hokies in scoring three straight seasons (1997-99). Graham earned first-team All-BIG EAST honors all four years at Virginia Tech and was a member of two BIG EAST Championship teams (1996, 1999). He earned his bachelor’s degree in communication from Virginia Tech in 2002.
Graham was a Parade All-American at Pulaski County High School in Dublin, Virginia.
