AS A SENIOR: Former linebacker closed his career as a fullback his final two seasons . . . appeared in all 13 games in 2008, including five starts (Iowa, Northwestern, Michigan, Purdue, Penn State) . . . had a career-high seven catches for 47 yards (6.7 avg.) as a senior . . . AS A JUNIOR: Saw action in all 13 games, including starting assignments vs. Bowling Green and Pittsburgh . . . caught four passes for 43 yards. . . scored his first career touchdown with a 3-yard grab in the third quarter vs. Penn State that cut the Nittany Lions[apos] lead to 24-14 en route to the 35- 31 Spartan victory . . . career-long 22-yard reception arrived in the season opener vs. UAB . . . made the transition from linebacker to fullback during spring practice . . .
