Will Price is in his second year as an operations assistant/special assistant to head coach Mel Tucker.
Price coordinates the daily schedule for Tucker in addition to assisting with football operations.
Before arriving at Michigan State, Price served as a football operations assistant and assistant to Tucker at Colorado in 2019. In his role at CU, Price managed daily schedules for coaches and players in addition to organizing travel for the head coach and assisting with travel and road accommodations for the team.
Price, 30, came to Colorado after three seasons at Georgia, where he had worked as the assistant director of nutrition for the football program since February 2016.
He graduated from Alabama in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, and also earned his master’s of arts from Alabama in sports management in 2015. As an undergraduate at Alabama, he worked with the team’s nutritionist on a daily basis beginning in his junior year, and after he graduated, he served as a full-time intern in the same area. While on the Alabama staff, he was a part of two national championship teams.
Price was born on June 8, 1991 in Northport, Alabama, and graduated from Lamar County High School (Vernon, Ala.), where he lettered in football, basketball, baseball and track.
