2007-08 (Freshman): Appeared in five games, and made his Michigan State debut against Alaska on Nov. 2 ... Potted his first collegiate goal in the second period of game two in the Mercyhurst series (11/10) ... Saw action in MSU[apos]s win at Yost Ice Arena in game one of the Michigan series (1/25).
Prior to MSU: Product of the USA Hockey National Team Development Program, where he played on the Under-18 and Under-17 squads ... Recorded four goals and seven assists for the U-18 team which finished with a 37-18-3 record in 2006-07 ... Helped Team USA to a silver medal at the IIHF U-18 World Championship ... Recorded eight points (4-4) in 66 games with the U.S. National Under-17 Team the previous season ... Helped Team USA earn the silver medal at the 2006 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge where he appeared in all seven games ... Played for Verona (Wis.) High School from 2003-05 ...
