Kazuki Matsuno joined Michigan State men's tennis as an assistant coach in 2023.
Matsuno returns to the Spartan men’s tennis program after a four-year playing career in the Green & White from 2019-23. He will also serve as the team’s recruiting coordinator.
Matsuno, a four-year letterwinner for the Spartans, played in 51 career doubles matches and 20 singles matches at MSU. He earned Big Ten All-Academic honors in 2021, 2022 and 2023 and was named MSU’s Big Ten Sportsmanship Award recipient in 2023.
A native of Chicago, Illinois, Matsuno earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Michigan State in 2023.
