High School: Was a four year letter winner in track and field at Jackson High School... Was elected captain of her basketball team for three years... Was All-State all four years, freshman year she placed third in long jump; sophomore year she placed fifth in the 4x200m relay, second in the 4x100m relay and third in long jump; her junior year she was state champion in the long jump, placed eighth in the 200m dash, fourth in the 4x100m relay and sixth in the 4x200m relay; her senior year she was the long jump state champion and became the state record holder and also placed fourth in the 100m dash...
