OUTDOOR: Participated in the hammer throw in four different events, including throwing a season- and personal-best mark of 55.96m (176-5) at the Indiana Invitational ... Threw 53.78m (176-5) at the Big Ten Championships and 51.66m (169-6) at the Jesse Owens Classic ... Opened the outdoor season with a throw of 51.28m (168-3) at the Spartan Invitational.
INDOOR: Competed in the weight throw at the Big Ten Championships, tossing his second-best mark of the season at 17.63m (57-10 ¼) ... Threw a season-best in the weight throw while competing unattached at the MSU Open, clearing 18.12m (59-5) ... Third-best mark of the season came at the Silverston Invite when he notched a throw of 16.83m (55-2 ¾).
