2025 (Fifth Year): Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten … In the varsity eight, finished fourth in the A final (6:32.55) at the Sunshine State Invitational (3/28-29), a half-length off of the podium after winning the semifinal heat (6:40.31) … At Eastern Michigan (4/5), earned an open-water victory over the hosts (6:36.6) in the varsity eight … In the varsity eight at the Big Ten Invitational (4/18-19), missed a podium finish by three-tenths of a second on Friday morning (6:24.280), earned a second-place finish to Oregon State, (6:32.687), and wrapped the weekend with a first-place finish in the final race, clocked in a time of 6:36.733 – nearly a full length ahead of second-place SMU ... 2024 (Senior): Academic All-Big Ten … Advanced to the Grand final in the Varsity Eight at the Sunshine State Invitational (3/29-30) after a fourth-place semifinal finish (7:14.14), and then took sixth in the Grand Final (6:44.17) ... In the varsity eight, finished second to host Michigan (6:45.96) (4/6) ... In the varsity eight, finished fourth to Alabama, Wisconsin and Clemson (6:47.34), third behind Indiana and Notre Dame and ahead of SMU (6:47.79), and fourth ahead of Oklahoma (6:37.81) at the Big Ten Invitational (4/19-20) ... At Indiana for the Dale England Cup (4/27), finished second to host Indiana in the varsity eight (6:55.3) ... In the varsity eight at Sprints (5/5), finished fourth in the morning prelims behind Northeastern, Columbia and Rhode Island (7:08.34) and finished fourth in the petite final (7:16.82) behind George Washington, URI, and Boston College ... 2021 (Freshman): Had a pair of third-place finishes in the bow seat of the varsity eight at a double dual at Ohio State (3/27), twice taking on a top-five crew (Ohio State), and clocked in times of 7:11.37 and 7:33.39 … Earned a pair of third-place finishes in the bow seat of the varsity eight at the B1G/ACC Double Dual (4/3), posting times of 7:15.29 and 7:35.66 in the two sessions against nationally-ranked Duke, Michigan, and Virginia … Lined up once again against some of the nation’s top crews at the Big Ten Invitational in Cincinnati (4/17-18), rowing in the seven seat of the varsity eight in times of 7:02.82, 7:13.21, and 6:59.27 over the three heats … Posted a six-seat win over Eastern Michigan in the seven seat of the varsity eight, clocked in a time of 7:03.20 … Finished third in the varsity eight (seven seat) at Indiana’s Dale England Cup (5/1), but closed the margin from the previous races against both IU and Minnesota, clocking a time of 6:52.30 … Rowed in the seven seat of the varsity eight at the Big Ten Championships, clocked in a time of 6:54.560.
Prior to MSU: Participated in rowing starting in seventh grade and ran cross country … As a senior, took second in both the Open Schoolgirl Eight at the QLD School State Championships and in the Inter-regional U19 Quad, representing Metropolitan West … Earned a bronze medal in the Schoolgirls Coxed Quad at the Australian National Championships … and earned a seventh-place finish in the coxed quadruple scull at the same event the year prior … at the Brisbane Schoolgirl Rowing Association Championships (BSRA), earned a silver medal in the open first eight and gold in the indoor championships as a senior, a bronze medal in the senior eights (division two) as a junior, and a silver in the Year 10 Division two quad scull as a sophomore.
Personal: Daughter of Colin and Amanda McKenzie … Father played in the Australian Football League … Brother, Matthew, competed in the CrossFit Games in Los Angeles in 2015 … Plans on majoring in kinesiology.
