2011: Served as the coxswain for most varsity four races... Took fifth place in the Big Ten Championships in the novice eight with a time of 6:50.47...Recorded a sweep over Boston University, Gonzaga and Indiana including a margin of 15.8 seconds over Gonzaga and 4.1 seconds against Indiana to capture the Dale England Cup... Posted an 8.62 second Big Ten victory over Minnesota in the Spartans[apos] only home race ... Defeated Texas by a margin of 10.6 seconds
Prior to MSU: Was a Canadian Secondary School Champion in two events her sophomore year in high school... Also was a Canadian Secondary School Champion in one event as a senior.
Personal: Born March 29, 1992... Daughter of Brian and Carole Evely... Sister, Kate, is a member of the women[apos]s rowing team at SUNY Buffalo... Majoring in accounting.
