2018: Opened the season with strong performances in the novice eight at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, (3/17-18), finishing second to Virginia twice and winning its second racing session with open water over Minnesota, Clemson, and Tennessee … In the novice eight, split races against Ivy League foes in Columbus, (3/31), racing to an open-water win over Harvard/Radcliffe before falling by five-tenths of a second to Yale in the afternoon … Swept the day at the Big Ten Double Dual (4/6), downing both Iowa and Indiana by open water in the novice eight … Raced at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge in the novice eight (4/21), downing both Duke and Notre Dame in open-water victories … Just missed a medal in the novice eight at the Big Ten Championships (5/12), seven thousandths of a second behind third-place Michigan in a photo finish.
Prior to MSU: Four-year varsity letter winner in basketball, volleyball and softball at Cousino High School … Member of the All-Academic Team for all four years in all three sports … Third team All-County in basketball and softball … Member of the Class A State Championship basketball team in 2016 … Also a member of the 2016 and 2017 District Champion softball teams.
