Logged a 3-3 record at heavyweight, going 1-2 in duals and 2-1 in extras ... Opened season pinning Connor Bowes of Maryland in the UMD dual of the Maryland/Minnesota tri-meet in East Lansing on Jan. 16, before losing to No. 1 Gable Stevenson of Minnesota, who went on to be three-time B1G Champion, NCAA champion and Olympic champion ... Edged Andrew Irick of Indiana, 4-3, in extras of the Indiana/Nebraska tri-meet in Bloomington, Ind. on Feb. 6, before losing to Cale Davison of Nebraska, 7-2, later in the day ...
