2023-24 (Redshirt Freshman) 7-20 Overall, 5-10 Open Tournaments, 2-10 Duals: Academic All-Big Ten honoree … Began the season going 3-2 at the Clarion Open winning two matches by a decision and one by medical forfeit … Earned his first dual victory at Presbyterian blanking Trenton Donahue, 15-0 … Earned his second dual victory at Buffalo in a close scoring bout against Nick Stampoulos, 6-4 … In the dual against American, he defeated Ethan Szerencsits, 5-2 … Entered his first B1G Championships as the No. 12-seed where he pinned Northwestern’s Aiden Vandenbush late in the third period for his first postseason victory.
2022-23 (Redshirt) 10-6 Overall, 10-5 Open Tournaments, 0-1 Duals: Opened the season taking second place at the MSU Open going 3-1 overall in the freshman/sophomore division. Earned his first collegiate victory over Lake Erie’s David Shue by fall in the opening period, then recorded a blazing first period fall over Olivet’s Jay Shaull 46 seconds … Went 5-1 at the Navy Classic to tie for sixth place, won four matches by a decision, defeated Davidson’s Noah Frack for his third pin of the season in 4:40 of elapsed match time ...
