CAREER NOTES: Earned USA Wrestling UWW Junior Division All-American honors by finishing fifth at 60 kg at the 2020 championships at Omaha, Nebraska.
2023-24 (Redshirt Senior) 21-14 Overall, 10-9 Open Tournaments, 11-5 Duals: Boasted a career-high 21 victories, 11 dual victories and 43 dual points … His 20 second pin over Bloomsburg’s Kevin Riedinger was the second quickest pin on the team … Started the season going 2-2 at the Black Knight Invite, had a dominant 22-1 victory over LIU’s Bo DiJulius … Started the dual season 7-0, logged three major decisions, two tech. falls, one fall and decision during that span … Placed fifth at the Midlands Championships going 6-2 overall, recorded back-to-back major decision victories over Mac Church from Virginia Tech, 10-2, and Dylan Layton from Cleveland State, 14-2 … Went 3-5 in Big Ten duals, two of the three wins came over nationally ranked opponents.
