Earned his first collegiate victory when he pinned Northern Illinois’ Carter Grewe, followed his performance taking down Ohio’s Mason Clem, 7-2, to reach the finals … Went up a weight class at 197-pounds at the Purple Raider Open where he went 3-2 overall, in his first match he pinned Fairmont State’s at the 1:50 mark in the first period and defeated Virginia Tech’s national qualifier Dakota Howard, 5-2 … Went 5-1 at the Alma Open where he racked up a pair of first period falls over Alma’s Colin Fluharty and teammate Misha Lomboy.
