2023-24 (Junior) 8-8 Overall, 8-8 Open Tournaments: Academic All-Big Ten honoree … Went 2-2 at the Clarion Open where he recorded his first career major decision victory over Gardner-Webb’s Tyler Hicks, 8-0, and his first career tech. fall over Columbia’s Matt Romanelli, 21-5 … Went 3-1 at the Greyhound Open where he defeated Quincy’s Gabriel Orosco, 12-5, and Illinois’s Cooper Wettig, 8-4 … Finished the season going 2-1 at the JCU Open with a pair of decisions, defeated Gannon’s Isaiah Mohmed in a low scoring bout, 1-0, and Ashland’s Logan Smalley, 8-6.
