2004-05: Redshirted....Went 3-8 in open competition...Defeated Ohio State[apos]s Chris Hamed at the MSU Open, 9-8...Recorded the first fall of his career against Eastern Michigan[apos]s Mike Weck at 1:34 of their match at the Kent State Open.
Prep: Finished with a combined record of 151-33...Took third place at 112 pounds as a junior...Was state champion, finishing with a 52-2 record his senior year...Three-time all-conference selection and two-time all-state...Also a four-year letterwinner in football.
Personal: Son of Kevin and Chris Slocum...Born 10/30/86...Is an engineering major.
